‘Salted Pollack’ that represents Seogwipo
The pollack is caught in adjacent seas of Jeju Island and its size is 6~12cm. In the early summer, put the mid-sized pollack by pouring the salt, and start eating in the fall. In the past, it was common to eat uncooked salted seafood without seasoning, but sometimes it became a good side dish by steaming it or boiling it with radish. The people who were born in Jeju Island always have the nostalgia about the cold raw pollack soup and salted pollack every summer.
